Dining Companions part two.

Morning of the first full day on the train and we were up early, due to gaining an hour overnight. This time we were not so lucky and were seated with a mother and her 5 year old son. He was refusing to eat and she was refusing to notice him. She would not make eye contact and any attempts at engaging her were completely ignored. Poor kid. In other news I was adventurous enough to order 'grits'. I will not repeat this. People over here eat the stuff we use to glue paper to our walls. Same colour, texture and taste. Actually I take that back. Wallpaper paste has flavour.
