Dining Companions part three.

Lunch! On the approach to the Rocky Mountains we joined Mary. (mid 60s) and her daughter Cath (teacher, mid 30s?). They were very knowledgeable about the route and the train and were the first people to strongly suggest things that we should do in SF. On the way we had to stay in the dining car while we went through a big tunnel for 10 minutes. They were pleasant companions, but we got the sense that they like to be the knowledge on the table. Should I give them a mark out of ten? That would not be fair. Needless to say that however nice they were, we were not going to be exchanging emails.
